Wasn't it great when our wonderful Prime Minister launched into praising British sporting life as Glasgow got the nod for the Commenwealth Games in 2014 or whenever, that he conveniently forgot all the cricket stuff?
Far more important to laud the bid for Football that hasn't even started yet than praise the ECB for hosting the inauguaral Twenty20 World Cup.

Why do we have to have Tests in May (when no one on the fringe of the team will have had time to stake a claim for it) and ODIs in June? And if we must have ODIs in the middle of the season, why not a triangular tournament?

They stopped Triangular series as being too long, and too dull, and usually the host nation went out so no one watched the finals.
Im booking tickets for the South African Edgbaston tests, who's with me??

Not me mate. There's a limit to how far I'll travel for my cricket next year. So apart from supporting my local team, I'll just be going to the MCG for India v Aus!!
