Ricky Ponting is not going to the Twenty20 World Cup

Ponting Well, at least not yet.  Whilst his team jet off to South Africa, Punter has remained behind due what Cricket Australia are calling, "a family issue".  I assume they are referring to people he is related to rather than perhaps gangsters having kidnapped him or something. The Australian board have said, however, that his availability will be re-assessed this weekend with a view to confirming his attendance at the tournament.
