Third Test, day five - West Indies 394 all out; England win by 60 runs

74539007 A ten-wicket match haul for Monty Panesar; 200 Test wickets for Steve Harmison; most ever Test wins for an England captain. A stunning bowling performance on debut from Darren Sammy; entertaining knocks from Runako Morton; and a dignified century for Shiv Chanderpaul.

If I were so inclined, I'd make a pun about this match finally proving a good Test for both sides.

In the end, Panesar and Harmison combined to put their opponents to the sword within the first half-hour of the afternoon session, but the morning was definitely best for the West Indies. Had Sammy and Chanderpaul managed to add another 20-odd to their partnership, the result may have been very different. Instead, the final four wickets fell rapidly, securing England a series win, and leaving the Windies to mull over the possibility of a consolation victory at Chester-le-Street in the fourth Test. Excellent Test, but how much did their lack of a fielding coach cost the Windies?
