Fourth Test, day three: England 121-4 (stumps)
The old Andrew Strauss came out of the England dressing room after tea, and hit a fine half-century, finishing unbeaten on 72, to conclude the third day's play.
It was Ali Cook who fell early, nicking behind off Edwards to the wicketkeeper for just 13, and Strauss who dug in and played on, with Michael Vaughan relatively passive at the other end before being caught by Dwayne Bravo off Edwards.
Two late wickets changed the face of the day's play. Nightwatchman Hog only lasted four balls, sent packing by a Chris Gayle catch from Collymore's bowling. Then Pietersen was gone for a duck off the last ball of the day, again caught by the wicketkeeper.
The runs came at a fair pace, and were bolstered by handfuls of extras, primarily no-balls, and primarily from Corey Collymore, until he tuned in his radar and began to bowl with some semblance of accuracy.
With two days left in the game and rain forecast for the next 48 hours, it's unlikely that we'll see a result, but it's good to see Strauss back in something like form. [Carrie Dunn] [Image: Getty]
