Fourth Test, day one - England v West Indies - play abandoned
God bless the British summertime. The umpires couldn't be bothered to hang around the Riverside all day, inspected the pitch early, and told everyone to go home, and that's the end of this first day's play. It seems a sensible decision - there has been no let-up in the rainfall since last night. On the plus side, that does mean that this game should now go to a fifth day. [Carrie Dunn] [Image: Getty]
