Australia lose again

A fabulous batting display by New Zealand has consigned Humble John Buchanan's side to their second series whitewash in as many weeks, despite a thumping 181 from Matthew Hayden.  This defeat, added to the one England handed them in the CB Series means that they drop out of the Number 1 spot in the ODI team rankings for the first time in 10 years.

Normally this type of thing would give me hope that they could be defeated in the World Cup, then my reality chip kicks me up the arse as I remember that this is the Aussies and they always win when it matters.  In fact they have probably lost this on purpose, just to get on our nerves.
