Chris Evans in India

Trainingchrisevans2 Chris Evans, BBC Radio 2's DJ and former presenter of TFI Friday (and Don't Forget Your Toothbrush; remember that? That was brilliant that was.) is in India for Sport Relief as part of a celebrity cricket team. Here he is (left) at Lord's receiving some batting tuition from none other than Phil Tufnell.

Luckily, Jack Russell and Alvin Kallicharan were there to offer some proper tips on how to bat in the subcontinent! He's a big cricket fan is Mr Evans, which automatically puts people in my good books.

There's more info on Sport Relief at the Alloutforindia.net website where they'll be providing updates on the tour. As well as Evans, the team are joined by Nick Hancock, former presenter of They Think It's All Over

He looks like 'a cat on hot tin bricks', which was how CMJ described Pietersen on Day One of the current test.

It is true that once you find out someone is a cricket fan then they go straight into the good egg box.

Good on yer, Ginger.
